Lisa lives in the southwest suburbs of Minneapolis with her husband John and Stella, their new golden retriever puppy. They have two boys, Josh 23 and Nick 21. John and Lisa love adventure, whether it is checking out a new local restaurant or traveling to faraway global destinations. Lisa’s background includes a variety of culinary experiences including food writing for local magazines, recipe creation, event planning for a Parley Lake Winery, author of the Eat Your Words culinary puzzle that appeared weekly in the Minneapolis Star Tribune Taste section for 2 years and more. As the author of this blog, Lisa hopes to ignite the fire of adventure for other empty nesters. She looks forward to hosting an interactive site and hearing about your suggestions & experiences!
